The Dallas Sheeple started as a passion project between Tyler Fonville, Reese McKinney, and myself where we could play baseball for the love of the game while tapping into sport design. Tapping into the punk history of Deep Ellum, we chose the name Sheeple as a way to embrace the counter culture and poke fun of ourselves. When creating the logo, the ear tag is a forced connection with home plate and it’s become an integral part of the teams branding.
